Forming after realising a shared passion for broken rhythms and a desire to express feelings of discontent through rave music, Bristol-based duo Disaffected are quickly establishing a formidable reputation for their high-energy, emotionally charged DJ sets

The duo's alias harks back to the zeitgeist of the UK rave scene of 88-94; A generation of youth vying to find an outlet for the rudimentary emotions suppressed by a socio-political landscape that is hellbent on individualism rather than unity. Their production and DJ sets are guided by a mission to renew life to this space.
Disaffected's music spans euphoria-driven breakbeat, heavy garage grooves and spellbinding electro. Their SoundCloud hosts a vast swathe of bootlegs of club classics, including the duo's prodigious spin on Tessela's Hackney Parrot, among several others.
